Lauren commenced her teaching career at Belmont Intermediate School in 2009. As a highly experienced teacher of intermediate school education, Lauren has vast experience in both Year 7 and Year 8 which has allowed her to play an important role in the training and development of new and international staff in the New Zealand curriculum. At Belmont Intermediate School, Lauren is the Director of Teaching and Learning, responsible for the school curriculum, professional learning for staff, student achievement and progress and achievement data. Lauren is also responsible for timetabling, the student management system (academic achievement, data and reporting), pastoral care for the Year 8 syndicate and IT Operations.
