On arriving in Auckland, all of our international students are met at the airport by our International Student Director who takes them to their homestay. The International Student Director helps to settle students into their new home and assists them to get prepared for their first day at school.

In their first week of school, students are assisted by our international team and a student buddy to adapt to our school environment. Students will be given assistance with:

  • familiarising themselves with our school’s layout and facilities;
  • understanding our school rules and procedures;
  • the counselling services available;
  • understanding the role of the International Student Director;
  • ESOL testing and
  • information on sports and extra-curriculum activities.

Our very experienced international team provide a complete wrap-around support system throughout the year (including a native speaking teacher aide who is fluent in Japanese and Korean), ensuring that someone is always on hand to personally assist our international students with any concerns or queries that they may have.
