The parent information night will be held in our school hall. We will provide important camp information on the night and encourage you to attend. It will also be an opportunity for you to ask any questions that you may have. A representative from our camp providers, Bigfoot Adventures, will also be present to answer any questions.
One of the key factors to the success of our camps is parent help. The camp is a fun, educational and rewarding week for students, parents and teachers. Camping in New Zealand’s great outdoors provides a unique experience that few other activities can rival. We require at least 40 helpers across the two camps. We have offered first right of reply to our existing parent helpers, however if you feel you would like to assist please fill in the form by (date TBA) and we will get in touch with you. Team Motuihe Helpers, click here. Team Rangitoto Helpers, click here.
Please complete a medical and personal information form for your child as soon as possible. The information requested is vital and a form must be completed for each child attending the camp by (date TBA). The camp medical and personal information form will be emailed to all parents of 2022 Year 8 students separately.
Thank you to those parents who have already paid for camp. For those who have not paid, we would appreciate your payment as soon as possible, please note that the full payment of $480 is due by (date TBA). Please pay via the school’s Online Shop.
A summary of the camp programme is outlined in the downloadable PDF below
All parents and caregivers attending camp as a helper are required to be police vetted. If you are planning to attend camp please see the instructions below on police vetting:
If you have any queries regarding police vetting, please contact Trudy Byrne.
