Camp dates

Team Rangitoto (Rooms 16 - 20 + 22) Camp 1: 1 - 5 March

Team Motuihe (Rooms 11 - 15) Camp 2: 8 - 12 March

Parent information night - Thursday, 11 February 7pm

The parent information night will be held in our school hall. We will provide important camp information on the night and encourage you to attend. It will also be an opportunity for you to ask any questions that you may have. A representative from our camp providers, Bigfoot Adventures, will also be present to answer any questions.

Parent helpers

One of the key factors to the success of our camps is parent help. The camp is a fun, educational and rewarding week for students, parents and teachers. Camping in New Zealand’s great outdoors provides a unique experience that few other activities can rival. We require at least 40 helpers across the two camps. If you are able to come on camp, please complete the online helpers form by 8 February 2021 and we will get in touch with you. Team Motuihe Helpers, click here. Team Rangitoto Helpers, click here.

Police Vetting – due 8 February 2021

All parents and caregivers attending camp as a helper are required to be police vetted.  If you are planning to attend camp please see the instructions below on police vetting:

  1. Complete and sign a police vetting form, download using the button below.
  2. Return the completed form in person to the school office with two forms of ID (e.g. passport, birth certificate, community services cards, firearms licence, NZ drivers licence). Please ensure that at least one form of ID includes a photograph of you. Please bring your original ID, not a photocopy as the original document needs to be sighted.
  3. We are required to receive the original police vetting form with signatures and to sight original copies of two forms of ID, so please do not e-mail or post the police vetting form or IDs to us.
  4. If you do not have access to a printer, we can send home a printed form with your child.

If you have any queries regarding police vetting, please contact Trudy Byrne.
