The annual Intermediate School Sports Camp held at Totara Springs, located 10 minutes out of Matamata. Teams of around 35 students compete against other schools in more than 35 sporting events.

The NZCT AIMS GAMES is a strategic partnership between Sport Bay of Plenty, the four Western Bay Intermediate Schools and the Tauranga City Council. The games are held in Tauranga with individual and team sports organised and run to a high standard.
