3. calling the school before 9am on 09 489 4878 and leaving a message.
The school will ring home if there is an unexplained absence.
If your child is unwell, please do not send them to school. If your child comes to school unwell, you may be contacted to come and collect them. Sick children cannot concentrate in class and also risk spreading germs to other students and teachers so we would appreciate your cooperation here.
If you intend to take your child out of school for any other reason, please e-mail the office and copy your child's teacher. Absences will be coded according to the Ministry guidelines. Extended absences will be managed according to our Attendance Management Plan.
