The AIMS Games championships give 11, 12 and 13 year olds an opportunity to compete as an individual or in a team against the best of their age in twenty-five different sports. The aim of the event is to provide opportunities for the student in the middle years to compete at an elite level, be active, celebrate fair play and enjoy success and it is through events such as the AIMS Games that these students will be provided with challenges and the opportunity to perform to a high standard.
Belmont Intermediate School students can either enter in individual sporting codes or be selected for a team sport. The sport teams entered into by the school vary from year to year depending on student interest and registration and will be confirmed closer to the time.
